We are sorry that you felt fraught as a result of these issues. Our policy is to send a text not an email advising of the delivery time slot. As it happens, after the date of your late delivery, we have in fact changed to another Carrier so we expect deliveries to be improved going forward. As regards the red tape you found on the underside of the mattress, the Telephonist was correct when she advised you that there are occasionally remnants of packaging found on the mattress. These are easily removed and do not indicate, as you suggest, that this might be a second.
