We always try to ensure that hotel facilities are appropriate for all customers, and liaise with our hotels prior to and during tours about any specific requirements or preferences customers have. Many thanks for your feedback and we are very pleased that you found the service levels on this tour to be of a high standard. We are however sorry that you found the content of the tour more disappointing in parts. Feedback for this tour is always very positive overall, however we take every customer's feedback seriously and endeavour to make adjustments where we feel it will help to improve the tour experience. We have found over many years that August works best in terms of the weather, access to Lindisfarne and other elements, and while there are some longer coach journeys, this does allow the group to experience the beautiful Northumbrian landscape and reach many connected historical sites. While the particular era covered by the tour is distant, we hope that you were still able to enjoy the historical detail, narratives and atmosphere conveyed by our Tour Director. Please rest assured that we also look into all operational aspects and will ensure that the hotel and coach facilities are as comfortable and convenient as possible for future groups.
