Thanks for the useful feedback! We thought long and hard about which technologies to use when designing this test - based on feedback from our customers we wanted to offer a competitively priced option for microbiome testing that would provide useful insights not only into the bacterial gut flora, but would also provide key markers of digestion, parasitic infection and yeast overgrowth. The microbiome tests on the market that use DNA sequencing technology typically only provide information regarding the different strains of bacteria - our perspective was that this information has limited actionable clinical value for the individual, and is of more value for broader research purposes. Pleasantly surprised to find a collection centre 200 meters from my front door - yes I would use this service again as it’s more convenient than going to my GP.
