Polite customer service but expensive compared with similar companies

Very polite customer service but even with what I was assured was a 'good deal' and discounts for being a long term customer the price for household insurance was more than double what I could get...

Home insurance made easy

Unfortunately with our circumstances changing our insurance became invalid but Countrywide found us alternate insurance without any fuss and we have continued to insure through them.

Polite handler but no follow up

The call handler was very polite and helpful. The systems were down so could not complete my request. I was assured someone would call me back but I didn't get a call.

Poor service overall.

Poor service. Customer service agents inefficient - do not send paper work when requested. Operatives have poor manners and lacking in courtesy. very expensive and no customer care at renewal time.

I discontinued with Countrywide due to poor customer service and very high premiums, which despite no claims were increased every year. I feel that the package sold to me together with my mortgage was not competitive and that I paid far too much for my cover. Added to the poor service and lack of customer care from operatives at renewal times, I wish i had taken my custom elsewhere earlier.
