1. I cancelled the purchase of the car before any monies were sent by Car Finance 247 and as asked to contact Barclay's ( the funder ) to advise. When I did so I was then asked to go back to 247 as I was told it was them who had to action the cancellation.
2. Although I had clearly cancelled the position I was still having calls from many different companies and it was somewhat obvious that many were only interested in 'not losing the sale' and not my personal wishes.
3. Finally 247 told me there may be a charge to cancel and even with my limited experience surely this cannot be correct as you have a right to a cancellation period with no charges.
4. I have been pushed from 'pillar to post' and the sad thing is that it is so obvious that it is due to people not wishing to lose the sale and I am sure commissions !!!!
