We do provide a wealth of information via our listings also, including product specs and can source installation manuals upon request. Customers can then pass on the information to their installers and confirm suitability prior to purchase. We can see that while your return request did not meet our criteria that go beyond our obligations under consumer law, we still offered to try and help because we absolutely understand that people make mistakes and we try to be as flexible as possible and within reason of course. Such as in your situation where your electrician advised that you cannot install any of the fans you purchased which would have resulted in you holding on to high-value products you cannot use. The freight we originally absorbed and paid for you under our free shipping promotion will be deducted due to you now returning all those goods. Also, the restocking fee is essential as it covers the minimum costs associated with a return, including the time taken for the warehouse to check each box, process the paperwork for each fan, receive all fans back into inventory and for accounts to finalise the refund for you. So as you can see multiple departments are involved in the processing of a return (particularly with multiple items) and while we’d love to make it at zero cost, we simply cannot unfortunately. However as a gesture of goodwill on this occasion and to try and help even further, we will lower the restocking fee for you and have already emailed you about this, so please check your correspondence.
