I am sorry to hear that the item you received was damaged, and please be assured that never want this to be the case. We do ask all customers to check items on arrival after receiving them so that we can resolve this as quickly as possible and prior to installation, in line with our terms and conditions. In this event, we can provide all available routes of recourse to bring this to a satisfactory conclusion. I have spoken to the colleague that spoke you regarding this matter, who has advised that we offered to send out the last one we had in stock available in good faith, and exchange for the original faulty one if possible. However, this was declined due to plumbing costs and due to the item being fitted, and the fact that it was only the specific part you wanted. Unfortunately, due to it being a sale and clearance item being discontinued, this is not something we hold individual spare parts of that or that we can source, so the only option is a replacement where possible with the original being returned to us. Unfortunately, we no longer have any remaining stock of this item and it has now been fully discontinued, so any further resolution would now involve a replacement tap. We do always try to assist customers wherever we can and explore all possible avenues to a satisfactory conclusion, so I am sorry you feel that this was not the case on this occasion. Kind regards
