Thank you for your honest feedback — we really appreciate you taking the time to review.
We’re sorry to hear the paws haven’t lived up to your expectations. Fizan paws are made from a mid-compound rubber — much like car tyres, the softer the material, the better the grip, but the quicker the wear. This summer’s unusually high temperatures have also softened the rubber further, which can speed up wear on abrasive surfaces.
It’s worth mentioning that the Impulse poles, with their 15° bend, bring the tip 15–20cm further forward compared to straight poles. That allows for better grip and a more effective push — but it also means more consistent pressure is applied to the paws, which can contribute to faster wear.
We’ve also found that uneven paw wear can sometimes relate to pole length or technique. For example, if the wear is mostly at the front of the paw, the poles may be a little short; at the back, they may be slightly too long. The 15° design means the ideal length may be different than what you’re used to with standard straight poles.
If you’re happy to send us a photo of the worn paws, we’d be happy to take a look and offer tailored advice. Our goal is to make sure you’re getting the best possible experience with your poles.
Thanks again — and we’re here if you’d like any further support.
