I bought different colors. One color had several knots and spliced spots. Not happy with that. Other colors had one spliced spot and another none. I bought the skeins on sale so I'm not too upset.

While knots can occasionally happen during the manufacturing process, the industry generally considers up to 3 knots per skein to be acceptable.
