Scabbard was very loose out of the box which was a little dissapointing as the sword was not cheap.. though the blade was very nice. Hanwei needs to focus a bit more on quality control.
Excellent so far, feels very well made with good quality fittings. The blade it self is of good shape with decent polish finish and decent level of sharpness. Also cuts well.
To say this Katana can cut is an understatement. Well balanced and a truly a joy to use. I had 30 tatami this morning and now I have about a billion bits of straw : -)
