Bought as areplacement for a somilar model which I've used for many years. Easy to install and working well. Only negative there is no longer ant method to control the flow of water from the unit

Thank you for your feedback. You mention in your previous feedback that the lid of the filter was damaged in transit but unfortunately failed to report this to us. I would double check the bulb/quartz sleeve in the lid as these are delicate glass components and if they are not working you wont get rid of your green water. Item is cheap, nasty, poorly made, has no quality to it whatsoever
My own fault I should clearly have paid more for something better!

This is one of the lower cost filters we sell, they definitely serve a purpose and lots of people buy these filters to replace the same models that no longer work, because they're so straightforward to use and a cost effective solution for smaller ponds.
