Beginning its life in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, this Highland single malt is then split between American white oak and aged Tawny port pipes from W & J Graham's vineyard in Portugal. These are then married back together to harmonise the flavours before bottling at a strength of 46.5% abv.The nose is sweet with plum and Seville orange, red berries and sticky toffee pudding. The palate is creamy with caramel, nectarines, roasted chestnuts and a touch of espresso. The finish brings more fruits with macerated cherries, blood orange, rich plums and sultanas.
