The bare roots arrived and two were very small out of four. All were planted in pots to get them going. Only one sprouted This has since died.

Despite planting promptly, only two poppies have started to show as being very weak specimens. Was expecting so much more from such a prominent supplier.

Thank you James for your review. Bare roots can take time to grow and perform, the weather this season has not been kind and the very wet, cold weather can affect the performance of plants. These are bare root plants so they would not look the best on receipt. We would expect, given the right conditions, for them to perform well and provide a great display but if this is not the case please do let our customer service team know so they can resolve things for you. Came as roots with a few leaves. I potted them and brought them on in the greenhouse. They are now planted in the garden and are healthy looking plants. I look forward to the flowers!

There’s are no instructions that comes with the bare-root planting. I had to look into the internet for a long time. After planting not even one survived.
