Hi Jon, thank you very much for taking the time to give us this feedback. After liaising with our web designers I assure you that our customer passwords and account details are stored in hashed format using MD5 encryption (sorry if this is getting overly technical). The password was being sent out in the welcoming email in plain text prior to being encrypted. However, thanks to your feedback, we have realised that this could be a little disconcerting for new customers and so welcome emails will no longer include your password in plain text.
