In this week's of Faces of Feefo, we speak to our Head of Product Management, Neil McIlroy.
Nearly two years.
I head up the Product team here - an eclectic mix of Product Managers, Analysts and User Experience Designers. My role is multi-faceted, one day I can be discussing our CX proposition with Forrester Analysts, and another be sat with our customer teams and talking to clients about how they can use consumer reviews to drive conversion and insights across their business. My role provides direction to all teams on our product strategy and help build out the solutions to drive real value with our clients and help Feefo continue its exceptional growth.
It would have to be something from our trips away, like when we watched the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field - you just can't deny the Americans do it better than anyone. It was just a regular game, but it had it all: A huge firework display, a live performance of the National Anthem and then near the very end of the game over 40,000 people stood to sing 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' during the '7th-inning stretch'. A truly unforgettable experience and we don't even follow baseball!
We love to travel and are particularly fond of road trips. One of the best we've done so far is Route 1 Pacific Coast Highway in America - over 600 miles of amazing landscapes, people and culture. I also love watching live sports/events and keeping fit. More recently, these things have taken a back seat with more fun-filled afternoons spent thinking of new and inventive ways to make our two-year-old son giggle.
Being in a company where you can genuinely effect change and your contributions have a clear line of sight on our company and client success. We have a great team of ambitious and focused people who have the experience and know-how to get things done. With no two days the same, I know for sure there are some really exciting times ahead for us, so watch this space!
