The cake was delivered on time but delivered in box upside down clearly no care had been taken by the courier!

We are very sorry that you felt our product was expensive. Our cakes are produced by Artisan Bakers and we pride ourselves in using only the highest quality ingredients, including real butter for the buttercream and Belgian chocolate for our chocolate chip cake. Each recipe has been created just for us to produce a cake that tastes home-made.
Each cake is individually finished by hand by our quality driven team within production and we have also taken our time to find and provide the best packaging we can to ensure each cake reaches you in perfect condition. Also, we make our cakes on the day we dispatch them and they last for 2 weeks if stored in a cool, dry place.
We are very sorry for any concern the courier caused by the courier having the box upside down. As you know, we pack the cakes really well and the boxes are marked ‘Fragile’ and ‘this way up’ for their guidance.

The bakerdays website makes it simple to create your own special design of cake. Choose a size and flavour, then add your special message! If you order before 2pm, we can deliver your cake the next working day, virtually anywhere in the UK. All of our letterbox cakes come complete with candles and balloons and our large cakes come with a cake slicer.
We independently collect feedback on behalf of the businesses that work with us. Our platform only reaches out to verified buyers, so you can be sure you’re reading reviews from real customers.
