Fresh Casters - 1/2 Gallon (4 pints)

Casters are a great bait for the winter months on natural venues like Rivers and Canals. During the spring and summer months they are a great bait for Carp on commercials. Mix into groundbait with other live bait to make a great spod mix. Or band onto a hair rig. All our casters are made on site from caster maggots. Our caster maggots are left on the beds for longer than normal until they reach point of turn. We then store them in climate controlled units where they are run over large riddles. The casters are then collected and vacuum packed and stored in our walk in fridges. We are turning casters on a daily basis to insure we provide the freshest bait. When you receive your casters, please refrigerate immediately until required. Our casters should last on average 5-7 days, however we have known them to last longer than this.
