<p>Seachem ParaGuard is an aldehyde based parasite control, designed for use in freshwater and marine tanks. It is fish and filter safe parasite control containing 10% aldehyde (by weight). It contains no formaldehyde or methanol and unlike toxic and formalin based treatments will not alter the pH level.</p><p>ParaGuard is made up of blend of aldehydes, malachite green, and fish protective polymers that effectively and efficiently eradicates many ectoparasites on fish. It also treats external fungal, bacterial and viral lesions such as fin rot and is very useful to use in quarantine tanks for new fish.</p><p><strong>Key Features:</strong><br></p><ul><li>For freshwater and marine tanks</li><li>Fish and filter safe</li><li>Will not alter pH</li><li>Eradicate ectoparasites</li><li>Treats external fungal, bacterial and viral lesions</li></ul><p><strong>Dosage:</strong></p><p>5ml per 40L aquarium. Repeat daily as required as long as fish show no stress. For 1 hour dips, use 3 ml per 4 litres. Dips may also be extended if fish show no evidence of stress.</p>
