Sit back comfortably, view from a distance of 45cm (about 1.5X magnification). Each side can be focused separately. Why? Q. This item is discontinued.  Why?  A. Because there's a problem with the packaging. It says it's for looking at your phone (and includes a phone-stand). Nobody uses a magnifier for looking at their phone. It's actually a brilliant magnifier for doing any fine repair or craft work.
