Silver plating solution, 100ml

DESCRIPTION Silver plating solution, rub it on, and it doesn't rub off! Works best on copper-based metals, brass, bronze, EPNS (electroplated nickel-silver) and Sheffield Plate. Works on nickel providing the nickel hasn't be processed with a coating. Will not work on chrome or steel (it goes on...it comes off) Will not work on filigree (it doesn't like the gaps).  This is a 'consumable' and cannot be returned, so before buying,  find out what your item is made of.  See an article about cleaning and plating silver. INSTRUCTIONS This item does not come with instructions so please make a note of this: Wear gloves (it stains). Apply with a cottonwool bud (works best) or a cotton cloth (uses less solution). Rub on for 10 or 15 seconds. Apply another layer. Each layer makes the silver brighter, so keep applying until it's the same colour as the rest of the item.
