Detail Open the handle (like split legs). Remove the cord. You can wear it around the neck for hands-free operation - see picture...and also please see "Instructions". You must clip the cord to the inside of the arms near the switch and lens. If you clip the cord anywhere else it won't rest on your chest, it will just fall flat and you'll say, "Eh? What's the point of that?". In the other arm is a tightly-wound cord. Removed the cord, unwind it, adjust the length so that the two split arms rest comfortably on your chest. If it's too high it will seem if it's nearly touching your chin and will be uncomfortable, if it's too low it seem as if it's nearly on your tummy and will be uncomfortable, find the position on your chest that is comfortable.
