Unlike the other gauges the holes are laser-cut rather than stamped. Whilst the only truly accurate way to weight a stone is to remove it from its setting and weight it, if you are using a ‘simple’ (with holes) diamond gauge, this one is by far the most accurate. Being clear acrylic also helps match the size more precisely.
