Hi Michael,
Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this to our attention.
Our policy ensures a minimum of 90 days between the time a course of medication is due to be finished by a customer or patient and the time at which the medication is set to expire.
I understand that the medication you ordered consists of 84 tablets that are formulated to be taken daily, i.e. over the course of 84 days. This means that the expiry date of your medication should be at least 174 days from the date the medication is delivered to you (since 84 days of taking the medication daily + the 90-day buffer we offer as part of our policy equates to 174 days).
As you mentioned, the medication you ordered had a use by date of 5 months from the date you received it, which exceeds 174 days. Therefore, the medication should still be more than 3 months away from expiry by the time it finishes, at which point we are happy for you to order more pending a clinical check from our pharmacy team.
We hope this clarifies the matter. If you require further explanation, our friendly pharmacy team is always on hand to assist and may be reached at 0207 112 9014 or via live chat on our website.
Jasper, Pharmica.
