Had a good start, but rain seems to affect results ( as stated in instructions) so needs replaced with the weather like it has been. I put it outside under a bench, but the rain water permeated...
It's been a few weeks now, the rats love the taste of the poison but I saw one just two days ago and they are only getting fatter.

Please make sure the blocks are in a box so the rats cannot remove them, as otherwise you will find they are storing them and not eating them, which is probably happening here, this poison will kill them within 5-7 days as long as they have eaten it. Its very important that these blocks are within bait boxes on a rod.
