When I saw my granddaughters face on her 7th birthday it was worth every penny. She gave me the biggest hug any nana could wish for. She was a very happy little girl.
The gloves are nice for a basic glove and they would be good maybe for wet days in the spring but they do not do anything as far as warmth.
