The SAS-TEC Level 2 UKCA & CE Approved Elbow/Hip/Knee/Shoulder Vented Armour Inserts Black (Pair) is part of the latest SAS-TEC collection. The SC-1/KCA2air is a variant of the popular vented SAS-TEC model SC-1/KA2air, but is now equipped with additional side cuts. The perforated vent holes provide excellent ventilation for increased comfort. The 'V'-shaped side slits provide even more freedom of movement and even better 3D mouldability to better cup the joints of the body. Made of viscoelastic soft foam, these protectors utilise SAS-TEC's own TRIPLEFLEX design for high flexibility. Under testing, the protectors undercut the prescribed standard EN 1621-1:2012, Level 2, by approximately 25%, offering the rider high-performance in a lightweight protector. The protector features tear-resistant fabric on the flat back side. With its extremely flat design, the protector is almost invisible under clothing and makes an excellent upgrade option to replace stock protectors in a garment. We recommend using this SC-1/KCA2air protector in the knee, shoulder and elbow area. It is also certified for use in the hip area.
