I forgot to mention the two boat trips, both of which were excellent. I was very pleasantly surprised by the AU CO, for some reason I thought this was going to be a lesser boat, but it was delightful. The staff on both boats were lovely, very friendly and helpful, and the guides were excellent ( I forget their names). The food was very good.
We really enjoyed the trips off the boats and the insight into life around the waterways. It was a lovely touch to be welcomed back on board with a wet flannel and a ginger tea.

Excellent holiday with brilliant guides. Covered everything we wanted to see. Loved both countries and the people so friendly. Also really cheap for food and drink.
