Made from Steel used when forming bracelets/bangles For use with metal or acrylic With Tang to hold in vice Bangle mandrels are used for hand forming bangles, they are also useful for forming and bending thermoplastics such as acrylic. This oval bangle mandrel will form oval bangles in a range of diameters ranging from 30x35mm to 55x62mm and the length of this mandrel is 230mm. It is best practice to use a rawhide mallet such as 997 3117 or nylon mallet (997 3103) to form your bangle. This hollow mandrel is supplied with a tang so will securely fit into bench vices (997 1665). Care should be taken to keep surfaces clean, as any marks will be transferred to the surface of the formed metal.
