4mm Round Natural gemstone Hardness: 6.5 - 7 on the Mohs scale Thread hole size 0.8mm Healing properties: Nurturing, New Beginnings Moss Agate is a variety of Chalcedony from the Quartz family, easily identifiable by its green, dendritic (tree-like) inclusions which give the stone the appearance of moss. Moss Agate is most often a translucent, milky white colour with inclusions of deep green but can sometimes include spots of red or deep bluish inclusions. Moss Agate has generally been known as the stone of agriculture. Agate is excellent for balancing emotional, physical and intellectual energy whilst moss agate symbolises new beginnings. These beads measure approximately 4mm in diameter with a threading hole size of 0.8mm and are supplied as a 16" strand. Please note that due to the nature of the material, each strand is unique so colours will vary and slight natural inclusions are sometimes faintly visible. Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place agate stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Agate can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix or an untreated cloth. It is advised to avoid exposing agate to prolonged periods of heat and light.
