The saw frame features a quick change CAM lever system, which allows the jeweller to quickly and easily change saw blades. Changing blades is a simple process, move the CAM lever up to release the tension, change the blade, and simply flip the lever back down to re-secure. This CAM system saves the jeweller time when projects involve multiple blade changes. The frames second key feature is the swivelling blade clamps, these allow the blade to rotate 45° to right or the left, allowing the jeweller to saw into areas never possible before. The frame can also be locked in the centre to ensure the frame can be used as normal, in the straight ahead position. Knew Concepts saw frame are light weight and strong, plus with minimal flex they help to minimise sawblade breakage. The 127mm (5") depth is ideal for working on small intricate pieces. The frame weighs only 137g, far less than a comparable standard frame.
