8mm Round Natural gemstone Hardness: 6.5 - 7 on the Mohs scale Thread hole size 1mm Healing properties: Cleansing, Harmonising, Balancing Indian Agate is a variety of Chalcedony from the Quartz family that comes in a variety of mixed muted colour strands including deep greens, browns and orange shades. Agate is excellent for balancing emotional, physical and intellectual energy and its cleansing properties. These beads measure approximately 8mm in diameter with a threading hole size of 1mm and are supplied as a 16" strand. Please note that due to the nature of the material, each strand is unique so colours will vary and slight natural inclusions are sometimes faintly visible. Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place agate stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Agate can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix or an untreated cloth. It is advised to avoid exposing agate to prolonged periods of heat and light.
