Stronger, brighter, whiter and versatile alternative to Sterling Silver Tarnish and firescale resistant, requiring less polishing and maintenance Hypoallergenic For all your casting applications Argentium Silver is a revolutionary alloy which is stronger, brighter and whiter than sterling silver, making it a more versatile alloy. Made with a small percentage of germanium, our Argentium 935 grain has a casting temperature of 970-1040°C, 870-910°C melting range and a density of 10.3g/cm3. It`s purer than sterling silver and finishes to a whiter, brighter shine that is comparable to fine silver. As it contains a lower percentage of copper than sterling silver, Argentium is tarnish and fire scale resistant. It also requires less polishing, no plating and less maintenance by customers. Another advantage of using this alloy is that it can be welded or fused, as well as soldered, allowing for a far greater breadth of design possibilities. A key selling point of using Argentium is that it is hypoallergenic, making it ideal for those who have an allergy to traditional sterling silver. Other silver casting grains are available including: Fine Silver (ASF 000). (price shown per gram)
