Hello, thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you have experienced some delay in receiving your order with DPD, we will certainly raise this with them as this is a standard we do not expect. We have arranged for some of our food to be sent to you free of charge by way of an apology for the inconvenience caused by this. Unfortunately, We are unable to return to our compostable packaging at this stage. We have looked at this from all angles and ultimately it actually was less sustainable, the quality of the food was being effected. Hundreds of bags were being thrown away due to the material ripping and puncturing, resulting in stale, gone off food, which then could not be even donated to charity. We where also having to create unneeded production runs to replace the damaged, gone off unused food, using more energy in turn. This to us seemed more unsustainable than a good quality recyclable packaging, by dropping it off at your local supermarket or Pets Corner they can have it recycled in the soft plastic section. We are always looking to adapt and when the time is right and the correct product is there we will look to do so, but at this stage our recyclable plastic really is our best option.
