What Laura Sullivan said about Troentorp Clogs:
Well-made, solid and cute clogs but sizing can be tricky
They seem to ship very quickly and the communication regarding the order itself is very good. Their shipper, UPS, does a really good job as well with emailing the tracking info and providing updates...

Don’t buy. Just go to a cobbler
I sent a detailed email with photos and they ended up giving me incorrect information. So honestly, I can’t recommend the service… it wasn’t thorough or knowledgeable at all

Sorry for the inconvenience with the resoling of your clogs. It’s great to hear your cobbler was able to repair the clogs. I have gone back and read through your emails and photos with Natalia before the purchase and I believe she gave you the correct information and it should not have been a problem to resole the clogs with the soles you purchased. The PU outsoles are always much bigger than the wooden midsole so the cobbler should first glue the soles onto the wood. Then once properly dry, the excess of the PU soles should be sanded down. In your case the soles would lastly have needed to be died black. Customers are resoling clogs with local cobblers all the time without problems but perhaps your repair shop had some good reason why it was not possible in your case. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience with the resoling. Many thanks, Sebastian

About Troentorp Clogs
After spending eight years learning his craft from the local cobbler, in 1907 August Johanssonwas finally ready to start his own company, which he called Troentorp. Over the years, he developed and perfected the production process, and in 1942. August’s sons, Börje and Stig, took over the family business. Today, we are proud to say that August Johansson’s legacy that started over 100 years ago is still alive in our factory. Though fully modernized to meet the needs of contemporary customers in terms of comfort and design, the knowledge and craftsmanship handed down through generations of cobblers are still visible in every pair of our wooden clogs.
