For former My Home Finance customers who live outside of the areas we cover with our branches and online platform, the loans are processed through the phone with documentation send through via e-mail, the reason for that is we haven't got a branch where you live and wouldn't be able to provide you with a loan if we didn't do it online.
We do our best to provide a good service and we are, therefore, committed to responsible lending principles meaning we need to make sure customers are able to afford the loan they're taking without compromising their financial health. That might have been the reason you were not given the amount you applied for.
