Sounds like she did a great job in showing you around the Underground and Arena of the Colosseum, in addition to the Roman Forum, a small group tour of max. 12 people does really create an intimate atmosphere. Ostia Antica is a site that is often overlooked, but an impressive ancient harbor port with a magnificent history located very close to Rome. There are so many unique details in the site like the Amphitheatre, old bars, and time-worn frescoes we would like to share with everybody if we could.
