Dear customer, It is illegal to sell knives to anyone who is underage. As a responsible retailer, Robert Welch have implemented some tight procedures in order to ensure the safe sales of knives. We're very conscious of the issues surrounding knives and we are accountable for ensuring that we are selling our products to consumers who are of a legal age. All orders placed on our website are subject to a age verification at the point of purchase and the point of delivery (using third party resources: AgeChecked & DPD). Age Verified delivery requires a signature from a person 18 or over and ID may be requested to confirm their age. If the Age Check is unsuccessful (different address, error inputting information, misaligned data), we will contact you and request proof of age. We will update our customers records as being checked and delete the email as part of our GDPR procedures. If we are still unable to verify your age please contact us and we will attempt to verify your ID manually, however we cannot accept orders over the telephone without a positive verification of age and will need copies of any documents requested.
