Please accept my apology for the misinformation you received prior to placing your order. I've been speaking to the Sales Team so I could understand why this happened. As I'm sure you're aware, FAG is German Manufacturer with many manufacturing facilities all over the world. These facilities often share production of different bearing types and sizes and so it is possible to have two identical bearings made in different locations. Without knowing which specific piece of stock would be allocated to any given order, we can only advise if a particular bearing type/size is ever manufactured in Germany. I apologise that this wasn't clearly communicated to you in the first instance. Please be assured though that the stock you received is genuine FAG stock, fully traceable using the Schaeffler OriginCheck App and the barcode on the bearing boxes.
