Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback following your recent holiday. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the arrangements made and we have taken the opportunity to review the points you have raised.
Upon investigating the prices on your booking we can confirm they are correct in accordance with our contracts. Channel Islands Direct is a reputable tour operator and we do endeavour to offer value for money holidays, however we do not claim that our prices are the cheapest available. This was an inclusive holiday and as such we cannot breakdown any individual costs. At the time of arranging your holiday you would have been provided with a total cost before the decision to book was made, therefore you have the choice of booking through us or looking at alternatives. We are pleased that on this occasion you chose to book your holiday through Channel Islands Direct however we are sorry that you feel disappointed with the prices.
We apologise for the error we made when making the booking with the hotel. This was a genuine human error and as soon as we were aware of our mistake we contacted the hotel and altered your reservation for the correct dates.
Regarding the schedule change of your outbound flight from Southampton. We were notified of this on the 23rd January with a new flight time of 19.50 but as this was not acceptable the flight was changed to depart at 08.20. Unfortunately the change to your flight was made by the airline and not Channel Islands Direct. The airline provided an alternative flight with no refund due.
The matter about the note you were left has been addressed with our member of staff. As you did not have transfers included in your itinerary you should not have received any correspondence saying otherwise. Please accept our sincere apologies for the misunderstanding on our part.
As you mentioned you have used our company before and were happy with the level of service you received, so you will know that the level of service you regrettably received on this occasion is certainly not indicative of the usual high standards of care afforded to our clients. We hope you will consider Channel Islands Direct when making future travel plans so that we may have the opportunity to restore your faith in our products and services.
