Hi Thomas. We normally would check with the customer first if we notice a large chandelier being delivered to a residential address. It happens more often than you think that a fixture is too large to fit through the front door! We didn't check in your particular case unfortunately. If we were aware of this, we could have potentially delivered in two sections with intructions for your electrician to complete assembly and install. We have a 4-day work week for the most part so it was unfortunate that no one from the design team was available for give advice immediatedly on the Friday it was delivered. We did, however, record and send a video the following Monday to assist you as best we could. We're glad that you're happy with the light fixture itself. It's a wonderful piece and I'm sure it looks really well in your home.
