Paul from Markel Direct here. First of all, thank you for your feedback.

I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed with the service you received when trying to arrange your policy with us. I understand that when you called there was some confusion regarding the cover you wanted to arrange. Our understanding was that you wanted to arrange professional indemnity insurance for your business, which we were unable to provide a quote for. However, after discussing with you, we established you only wanted to arrange public liability insurance, which we were able to provide a quote for. Apologies for any inconvenience this confusion may have caused.
