Avoid, book direct with Steam Packet Company.
Didn't realise that Manx Ferries was a commission based agent until after i booked and lodged my deposit. Could have got the same booking 30 odd pounds cheaper by booking direct with the Steam...

False advertising. Small print for booking its said that you pay only for reservations (aroud £62 for ferry ).They send you total bill after month aroud £600!!!!Read small print before booking they...

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and for your time on the phone this morning.

As discussed, the Isle of Man Steam Packet have been running a deposit period from May 2017 until to date. The deposit period allows customers to book and secure their ferry for the TT Festival until the fares have been released. The deposit is taken off the fare with the balance to be payable no later than the 16th February 2018.

We understand your frustration and appreciate you were not travelling for the TT. The deposit information is detailed throughout the booking process, but on the back of your feedback we will be making improvements in preparation for next year's deposit scheme.

Thanks to Darrel for sorting out my queries with polite and professional manner. Lesson been take read small print before submitting. I do priciate that you will upgrade your system for further bookings. (More clearly to everyone ).Problem solved

Booking and crossing well, Food on board could be better.
The booking and the help is excellent. The Service on Board in the Premium Lounge is average, could be better.

Need to coordinate release of bookings with hotel availability
When tried to originally book the ferry in September they were not available I phoned and was told that they may be available late October. To get a hotel for August I had to book in early September....
