We have had a lightening strike that hobbled most of our systems recently and slowed us down in several departments. I am sorry to hear about this, as it is not the kind of customer service we expect our clients to receive. However, this was an unusual request and the piece we sent was a sample of the material only. Our 240 x 160 sleepers are extremely robust, heavy and dense. We would be happy to cut a 300mm sample but this would incur additional shipping and cutting costs and you would need to call us for anything obviously exceptional such as this is. We added a note to this effect with the sample we sent. Some small voids are inevitable as the material is forced into a mould during manufacture, but are few and far between.
