I really like the clothes, but there is a tendency for the buttons to come off on first wearing which has put me off ordering again - I have had this with three tops, the hood on one coat and the buttons on another jacket. As a result, most of my Joe Browns clothes sit in my sewing pile and never get worn!

I have used Joe Browns for years and have found their clothes unique and good value for money. Some of the products aren't a great material and I would prefer they were made of better quality material and pay slightly more for them. The customer service staff have nearly always been efficient and friendly and I have received packages with a few days of ordering. Unfortunately my recent order was a complete mess - I was awakened at 7am on a Saturday morning by someone trying to deliver my order to a previous address in Edinburgh (I now live in Glasgow). I am relieved that my previous flatmate did not answer the buzzer as he would have been most annoyed if he was wakened up at this time on Saturday morning by a delivery driver that was in the wrong city. I received one of the 99 knit cardigans quite efficiently but I had ordered two and had to wait over a week for the rest of my order to arrive due to it being sent to Edinburgh. I had also phoned to add a 3 other items onto the original order and I had to wait 3 weeks on their arrival as they had been dispatched incorrectly to Dundee. When the 3 items finally arrived after phoning customer service twice to progress order one of the t-shirts was not what I ordered. So now I'll need to pay to return it and order the correct t-shirt.

Different, good quality products.

I love the catalogue and then I go onto the web site to have a better look at my potential purchases which is excellent as it allows you to see the items in some detail. I think the service is first rate, speedy efficient delivery and returns service. I wish the returns were postage free though!
