Thanks for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you have had difficulty with your eBook order. The process may be less straightforward due to eBooks being DRM wrapped by the publishers, requiring Adobe Digital Editions to be installed in order to download. Our eBooks are in ePub format with DRM applied so aren’t in an open format making them compatible with Kindle for example.
However, as we want you to be completely satisfied with all purchases made with us and you weren’t satisfied with the download experience, we’ve refunded the full cost of the eBook ordered, the refund has been issued via PayPal and should be with you shortly. We understand DRM wrapping makes the download of eBooks more complicated but we are unable to simplify the process due to these restrictions.
In regards to the percentage that all our bookshops receive it is a minimum of 8% but usually averages between 10-15%. I hope this answers your query and apologies that the eBook process is not any simpler but it is something we are looking to try and improve. Thank you for shopping with us and hope you will do so again.
