Dear Rebecca, Thank you for your review. We are glad that overall you had a great week and you thoroughly enjoyed it. As it is Autumn and feeling a bit like Winter sometimes the tents can get a bit chilly i understand. We now have 2 heaters and the log burner in there now. Took one star off simply because it's not a great site for dogs. No grass to put their spike into gir them to lie on. Disappointing to be so close to the lake but no pitches with lake views. ...

Beautiful setting by lake windermere. Easy to launch kayak. Large touring pitch with main water and electric hook up. Staff at reception pleasant and easy check in.

Good site, expensive taxi ride into Bowness! Grey waste for Motorhome isn’t in the best place-could do with a proper Motorhome service point.
