Who can leave a Feefo review?

Only customers with proof of purchase can leave a Feefo review. We ensure this by reaching out to buyers straight after their transaction.

How do we verify reviews?

We verify that reviews are from genuine customers by matching them to a sale or transaction. People are only invited to leave a review after purchasing from the business.

How do we deal with fake reviews?

Feefo prevents people from leaving fake reviews because we only invite verified buyers to give feedback.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about the misalignment of the changeover days and that one of the apartments we recommended didn’t accept children. To try to avoid just such problems we publish changeover days for each property and whether they accept children and any other restrictions in our brochure descriptions and on our website. In most cases HH staff use their experience to pick up issues such as these and alert customers to the potential problems before bookings are confirmed. Creating the opportunity for us to do that is one of the reasons we don’t allow full online booking and payment. However, occasionally we don’t anticipate potential problems and I’m sorry to hear we didn’t on this occasion. As you correctly surmised, owners ultimately determine the price charged for their property. Whilst we offer guidance to our homeowners, the amount charged to guests is ultimately the owners decision, it is , after all, their property. I’m sorry if you felt we were evasive about that fact but it is a point which is infrequently raised and I accept we might not have been quite as slick with the answer as you would liked. Happily the local source is wrong about us never visiting. All except one of us have visited on numerous recent occasions and many of us have stayed in the apartments as holidaymakers. I’m sorry to hear you don’t like the system for paying balances. The date due is printed on our booking confirmations and we also text a reminder a few days before balances become due. If customers forget we send a gentle reminder by post. There’s the opportunity when making a booking to ask us to take the balance automatically when it becomes due. Many customers find this the most convenient way to handle their balance payments. Thank you once again for your feedback and despite your current and previous reservations about our service we very much hope you have a good stay and will change your mind about booking through us in the future.
