Thank you very much for taking the time to let us know about your experiences. Wherever possible we ask that provisional bookings are confirmed with a deposit within 48 hours. If necessary we are always happy to extend that time a little so that you can finalise your plans, we only ask that you keep in touch to let us know how you are getting along. Many people make provisional bookings and do not confirm them. Sometimes we simply never hear from a person as they have changed their mind. I appreciate this was not the case for you, but whilst the property is reserved, it cannot be booked by anyone else. Should the booking then not go ahead, this has cost the homeowner nearly a week of valuable marketing time at this the busiest time of the year. I am very sorry if you felt that the message was terse, but glad that you decided in the end to proceed with booking. I hope that your holiday will be very successful.
