The glove can take a little time to get used to, please make sure that the heart teether isn't inserted at this point so that little one has more control over the glove. the heart can be added later when they are comfortable with the glove on. Hi Laura, thank you for this amazing review. We did take drool into consideration and tha 100% cotton will absorb most of the drool and then we have 3 layers so that their hand on the inside of the glove can stay dry. Too much drool can cause quite nasty rashes and other teething mitts don't really take this into consideration. Thanks, Steve Boothby, Gummee Daddee.
