Thank you for your feedback and we're glad you enjoy the concept and there was a great atmosphere. It's a shame to hear the athlete was late as this is something we constantly monitor and we hope to update the school on any delays if they are running late. We want to ensure the children and staff are getting the most they can out of the event and that it's not rushed. As a goodwill gesture, I'd like to discuss this feedback with you further.

A fantastic event - thank you!

An excellent sporting experience; so inclusive and motivational.

A truly inspiring day

Steve and Malakai were brilliant. The children thoroughly loved the activities and there was a lovely "buzz" around the school. In addition, everybody found his assembly inspiring. Thank you so much!

About Great Athletes

The scheme was set up in 2005 by former Great Britain gymnast, Ben Brown. Ben featured heavily in the Back the Bid Campaign which eventually saw London win host nation of the 2012 Olympic Games. Ben was forced to quit his passion and dream of competing at an Olympic Games due to the lack of much-needed funding in his sport. He was motivated to ensure that this did not happen to other sporting hopefuls and wanted to inspire children across the UK to take up sport and lead healthy lifestyles.
